Cédric Jubillar is the main suspect in the disappearance of his wife, Delphine Jubillar, in December 2020. He has always said he is innocent and his lawyers have said that there is no irrefutable evidence indicting him.
The lawyers of Cédric Jubillar, suspected of having killed his wife, who disappeared in December 2020, asked the prosecution to investigate the “multiplicationof leaks to the press of information subject to the secrecy of the investigation, one of these lawyers told AFP on Thursday.

“There can always be indiscretions, but (…) of this magnitude, it is quite unprecedented“, estimated Me Jean-Baptiste Alary. “I don’t know who tramples the secret of the instruction” but “these violations are increasing“, he said again. Me Alary underlined the publication in the press of the results of two recent expert reports, even before Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers were able to read them. It is a psychiatric expertise concerning Cédric and another on the glasses of his wife Delphine. Me Alary and the two other lawyers for Cédric Jubillar, Mes Emmanuelle Franck and Alexandre Martin, therefore wrote to the Toulouse prosecutor asking him to intervene.
Delphine Jubillar, who worked as a night nurse in a clinic in Albi, disappeared in December 2020. Her husband, with whom she was in the process of divorcing, is the main suspect. He was indicted for murder and imprisoned on June 18, 2021. He claims to be innocent. Justice believes that the investigators have brought enough elements of the guilt of the 34-year-old plasterer painter to keep him in prison, while Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers claim that the file contains no irrefutable evidence. Cédric Jubillar must again be heard by the investigating judges on May 12.
