Since the Covid crisis, Brian, manager of the Lincoln Tunnel Motel in New Jersey, has regularly opened rooms in his motel free of charge for people in need.
“Every night in the United States, nearly 600,000 people sleep on the streets. Our motel is full of these people. It is the most difficult time of the year. But we are here to help you!”. Since the coronavirus crisis, Brian has been launching solidarity calls on his TikTok account, which has quickly become popular. Manager of a motel in New Jersey, he provides free rooms to people in need.
“I want to show the world that there are places like this that still exist”
“Before the pandemic, I did not give special treatment. But then people started losing their homes. Now, it seems inconceivable to me not to offer a free night, at least, to those who need it” explains Brian. Regularly, the one who is also a father of 4 children, receives donations. “To the donor who told me he preferred to remain anonymous, who left us winter clothes, blankets and hats, thank you. My guests and I are grateful” says the manager on TikTok. “Life is sometimes difficult. There will always be places like this. I want to show the world that we still exist”.
