The attitude of subway users towards a sleeping dog has moved many Twitter users after the publication of the video immortalizing the scene. The animal occupied 2 seats when the vehicle was full, but the passengers let it quietly continue its nap.
In these troubled times, every sequence, image or story bringing a little happiness and hope is welcome. Especially when it involves animals, which remain best placed when it comes to inspiring us with joy, compassion and kindness.
The video in question here, relayed by IndiaTimes, is totally in line with this logic. It shows a dog having been overcome by sleep while on board a subway. The animal occupied 2 seats in a train full of passengers. Despite the lack of places, none of the people standing wanted to disturb the rest of the quadruped, most likely wandering.
The dog even seemed to be dreaming, judging by the movements of its paws. Who would like to be woken up in a dream? That’s probably what subway passengers thought at the time.
The video was posted on Twitter on October 5, 2022 by an Italian Internet user by the name of Stefano S. Magi. Describing himself as a dog and skydiving enthusiast (he was a member of the parachute brigade Folgorein the Italian Air Force), he regularly shares touching animal footage.

If there is no indication of the place in its publication, the scene seems to have been filmed in Chile. The inscriptions in the train resemble those found on the rail network of the city of Valparaísoin the center of the country.
