On Saturday, a mother and daughter visited friends in Morestel, Isère.
The family owns two bichons and kept a friend’s Labrador.
In the afternoon, the little girl, squatting, was caressing the bichons, when the Labrador bit her on the head. The dog was then pushed away by the adults.
But the animal attacked the child a second time, still biting her on the head.
The adults then threw themselves on the labrador, subdued it and locked it in a room, while waiting for help.
The firefighters, who arrived on the scene, took charge of the girl and then transported her to the hospital. She suffers injuries to her head, nose and scalp.
The Morestel gendarmerie brigade was in charge of the investigation.
