Arsenal and Man Utd are ready to pay 80 million euros to sign a star striker

Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to pay 80 million euros if they want to grab Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. As Italian outlet Calciomercato report, the two Premier League giants are looking to secure the signing of the Serbian international in January.

However, the report claims that the Old Lady want at least €80 million to consider parting ways with their star striker.

Arsenal find themselves in a delicate situation with the long-term injury of their star player, Gabriel Jesus. The Brazil international has impressed Mikel Arteta’s side since joining from Manchester City in the summer.

The Gunners are now looking for a new number 9 to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Manchester United are also in the hunt for a striker after parting ways with Cristiano Ronaldo following his controversial interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.

They are left with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as two attacking options.

The Red Devils would therefore be interested in Vlahovic, who has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Vlahovic is Juventus’ top scorer this season with seven goals and two assists in 15 appearances in all competitions. The Serbian moved from Fiorentina to Juventus for 70 million euros in January.

In total, he has scored just 18 goals and provided four assists in 36 appearances for the Serie A giants so far.

Juventus are currently in a difficult situation with the resignation of their entire board at the end of last month.

Both Premier League sides are looking to take advantage of Juventus’ situation and could lure their prize money away from Turin.
