Cheese recalled throughout France by E. Leclerc

E. Leclerc stores have decided to recall cheese sold throughout France from January 10 to 24. A sheet was published on the official Rappel conso website on Wednesday, regarding Morbier AOP made from raw cow’s milk, from the brand Nos Régions ont du talent. Listeria monocytogenes bacteria have been detected in the product. This is responsible for listeriosis in humans.

The pointy cheese was marketed in the self-service department and packed in plastic packaging weighing 250 g. The recall indicates lot 006, with barcode 3564709172415. “Only products with the additional code 03 after the barcode are affected by the recall,” states the sheet issued by the E. Leclerc group.

Do not ingest

“People who have consumed the above products and who have fever, isolated or accompanied by headache and pain in the body, are encouraged to consult their doctor and inform him of this consumption”, advises Rappel conso.

It is recommended that you stop consuming Morbier and return it to the point of sale for a refund before March 24. A telephone number is available for consumers in case of questions: 0.800.874.187.
