Couple missing in Deux-Sèvres: Leslie’s second dog used as an ambush in the investigation

Leslie Hoorelbeke and her boyfriend Kévin Trompat have been missing since November 26, 2022. Hoping to find their tracks, Leslie’s family has called on an unexpected ally: her dog Baïko.

But where did Leslie and Kevin go? This is the question that has plagued all of France for just two months. respectively 20 and 21 years, Leslie Hoorelbekeher boyfriend, Kévin Trompat, and their dog Onyx disappeared on the night between November 25 and 26 after an evening at a friend’s house in Prahecq in Deux-Sèvres. Since then, their relatives have done everything possible to find their traces. As the magazine reveals Paris Match, Patrick Hoorelbeke, Leslie’s father, and his companion, Émilie Cardré, in particular opened an investigative notebook with all the information that could advance the investigations. “The words fly away, but the scriptures remain“, the father of the missing youth explains to our colleagues.

And that is far from the only effort made by those close to Leslie. Always according to Paris MatchPatrick Hoorelbeke and Émilie Cardré are always present during the citizen drives organized around Prahecq. They even involved another close friend of Leslie, her dog Baïko, “in the hope that he will sniff out a clue”. Unfortunately, even in the places that the young painter visited before his disappearance, his four-legged friend identified no traces.

Leslie and Baïko, a great love story

If Patrick and Émilie thus put Baïko to work, it is because Leslie was very close to his dog. Moreover, according to her father, the young woman loved her companion so much that she would never have left him voluntarily. For Patrick and Émilie it is thus certain that Leslie and Kevin had a bad meeting. It has to be seen in what context. In late December 2022, the police opened an investigation for kidnapping and forcible confinement. It is carried out by the Research Section of the Poitiers Gendarmerie.
