It was when the obligation of companies to provide supplementary health insurance to their employees came into force in 2016 that Alan entered this market with a 100% digital offering. The startup founded by Jean-Charles Samuelian and Charles Gorintin has thus set out to conquer a sector characterized by the presence of a large number of players, but also in need of renewal.
Alan has thus taken out dematerialized supplementary health insurance. For example, users can get their health insurance card on the mobile application with just a few clicks or even add their family. The unicorn now aims to employ 1,000 people in Europe, reach 3 million users and be profitable by 2025.
