UAn explosion sounded in the night from Sunday to Monday on the Stenenburg, in Borgerhout (Antwerp), indicates the local police. The attack targeted a restaurant, which has already been targeted twice in recent weeks. No injuries are reported.
The first attack on this restaurant dates back a few weeks. He had then been machine-gunned with a weapon of war. Two suspects were quickly arrested in the area. Last week heavy fireworks were launched at the building and fire accelerators were used.
The building in question is linked to (the family of) kickboxer Jamal BS, like others in Antwerp, also targeted by attacks in recent weeks. The federal judicial police are investigating the case, in particular on a possible link with the narcotics world.
