Quebec did an about-face on Sunday about sharing its health data with Ottawa.

In the interests of transparency, Premier Legault and Health Minister Christian Dubé have agreed to transfer their health data to the federal government. This is also a condition that Ottawa has set in order to be able to pay more money to the provinces.

The federal government intends to create a world-class health data sharing system, while also having performance indicators.
