When you adopt an animal, you always have to ask yourself the right questions beforehand because it is about the life of a living being. It is the same when one decides to buy this same animal at a fair dedicated to animals.

The choice must be made with the heart, but above all with the head. Buying a dog should be a well-considered decision so that everything goes as smoothly as possible. You must first find out about the costs to come, about the education and the chosen race, about the holidays that are coming…

A 3rd retirement

On October 8, after two puppies were abandoned, the Mulhouse SPA shared sad news: a third puppy was abandoned. This is a young Husky a little over two months old.

His owners decided to bring him back to the shelter after trying to contact his breeder, to no avail. A situation deemed unacceptable by the SPA which already manages many abandonments throughout the year and very often lacks space.

On Facebook, the Mulhouse SPA therefore wanted to share its anger and sadness following this abandonment which could have been avoided.

The establishment, on October 1, of a certificate of commitment and knowledge could change the situation because it imposes a period of reflection. Let’s hope this allows buyers to ask the right questions beforehand and before it’s too late.
