Flash shot. The tradition is not lost. The end of the year is already approaching, and the firefighters are ready to sell their calendar. From this Saturday, November 12, 2022, 76 porters will leave the barracks to meet the citizens of Chaumont and nearby municipalities. They are all members of the association of firefighters in Chaumont.
They specify that the bearers will be in uniform and will present themselves in pairs (minimum). They are also ordered to use the current health instructions, which are to wear masks and regularly disinfect hands. Until mid-December, firefighters will go door to door to distribute the 7,600 calendars printed this year.
FYI, the money collected will be used to improve the daily life of the firefighters at the barracks, for JSP (young firefighters) and to help various works throughout the year, such as orphans of firefighters and their families, or even telethon.
