Health insurance: Compulsory measures in force from 1 January 2023 – Here is the decree that says it all

In Côte d’Ivoire, health coverage introduced by the government since 2014 is now mandatory for all citizens. No more moments of accusations, the government has decided to move on to the active phase of its project. From 1 January 2023, the binding measures will thus come into force nationally. Among these restrictions are the obligation to present a receipt of registration to the Cmu to present all competitions organized by the state, the obligation to register to the Cmu to be registered in universities, grandes écoles and even to be recruited in jobs in the section -public sector.

An unprecedented decree that will not fail to arouse comments. But everything will be confined to the living rooms. The civil service unions have entered into a social truce with financial compensation to let whatever comes from the government pass. So they won’t say anything.
