Kinshasa: 206 members of CENI ready to take charge of level 3 in the training of employees in the revision of the electoral register

The Deputy Speaker of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), Paul Muhindo, concluded at the William Booth University in Gombe, the Level 2 Training of Trainers, on the operation of the Audit of the Electoral Register (RFE). He was accompanied by Roger Bimwala, Member of the Plenary, the Deputy National Executive Secretary, Mrs. Marie-José Kapinga, as well as the CENI/Kinshasa Provincial Executive Secretary, Mrs. Anne-Marie Mukwayanzo.

A total of 206 participants attended this seven (7) day training session on electoral roll updating. These include 31 officers from the Kinshasa Provincial Executive Secretariat, including the branch managers and IT specialists, 21 candidates for legal nodes, 4 members of the Mai-Ndombe Provincial Executive Secretariat and 150 candidates for Provincial Electoral Trainers (FEP).

On behalf of CENI President Denis Kadima, the Deputy Speaker, Paul Muhindo, emphasized that the objective of this training was achieved:
“It was planned in the 10 provinces, which constitute the first operational area of ​​the revision of the electoral register, that the training lasted for 7 days and this has just happened. Tonight’s statistics show that we have reached 98% participation. In addition 17 of the 18 modules planned to be taught have already been delivered and you will close with the last one after this ceremony. So we pretty much achieved our goal.”

On this occasion, Paul Muhindo urged the participants to continue their responsibilities in these terms:
“Level 2 training is mainly aimed at equipping the participants well so that they are able to train territorial election trainers. After the completion of this session, the territorial level training will start from December 2nd to December 8th and you are called to be facilitators for level 3. I would therefore like to draw your attention to rigor, so that the quality of acquired knowledge is passed on to levels 3 and 4, because the operation of the revision of the selection book depends a lot on it.”, indicated the deputy speaker of CENI.

And to specify:
“Today the election calendar has been published, we have no room for error, we must continue to act rationally in order to be at the big meeting that everyone is waiting for. “, he concluded.

The Provincial Executive Secretary, Anne-Marie Mukwayanzo, also thanked the new management leadership of the Central Electorate, led by President Denis Kadima, for making this training session available. It is certain that at the end of this training, the recipients will provide training to level 3 and monitor level 4 throughout the city of Kinshasa.
