“He has completely lost his mind, he recognizes it”, assured this Tuesday on BFMTV Me Jean-François Canis, the lawyer of Aniss, the man under investigation after violently hitting a teenager. The latter is suspected of having sexually assaulted the daughter of Aniss, aged six, and has been indicted. He formally denies the facts.

Aniss had the “feel that her complaint”, filed after the attack on her daughter, “had not been taken seriously” since “no police officer” came to patrol the neighborhood within 24 hours, according to the ‘lawyer.

Earlier in the evening, the public prosecutor of Roanne, Abdelkrim Grini, declared on BFMTV that “our rule of law does not allow us to take justice into our own hands”. “We can perhaps explain” the facts, said Jean-François Canis, who said that the little girl is “relatively traumatized” by the events.

“When we touch your 6-year-old daughter, we touch what you hold most dear,” he added.

His client “was wrong to do so” but “I don’t know if, placed in the same position, each of us would keep his cool”, declared the lawyer.

“It’s an instinctive reaction of a few seconds, I condemn it, I regret it”, but “there was no punitive expedition”, affirms Jean-François Canis. According to the lawyer, his client does not dare to return home since the events.

A little girl sexually assaulted

Anise admitted on BFMTV to having “beaten” the teenager. According to him, the latter broke into the family’s house and was discovered by his wife in their daughter’s room sexually touching the 6-year-old girl. The teenager then fled but was clearly seen by the mother. The parents filed a complaint the next morning.

Aniss went in search of the person who assaulted his daughter, explained this Tuesday the public prosecutor of Roanne, Abdelkrim Grini on BFMTV. He fell “face to face” with the person described by his wife. The minor in question is housed in a home very close to the family residence.

After having his identity confirmed by his spouse, Aniss “unleashed” on him, “in extremely serious, intolerable proportions”, according to the prosecutor.

10 days of ITT

The miner was knocked to the ground by four people, who notably hit him with an electric cable, until the police arrived. He was taken to hospital for treatment, suffering from “significant injuries”, describes the magistrate. 10 days of ITT were issued to him.

He was indicted, remanded in custody, and faces 10 years in prison. Aniss is the subject of an investigation for “aggravated violence in meetings committed with a weapon by destination”. It concerns four people, Aniss and friends and neighbours. According to the prosecutor, the father faces 7 years in prison.

“Any father” would have done the same, according to the man who describes himself “in a trance” at the time of the events.

“I shouldn’t have done it, but I don’t regret having done it in any way,” he added on BFMTV.
