Lyon lawyers are invited to gather at 1 p.m. in their robes for the defense of individual freedoms in Iran. The meeting is given in front of the Maison des avocats, at 174 rue de Créqui in the 3rd arrondissement.
A “intolerable repression”
A rally that follows a motion of support for Iranian women and men who fight totalitarianism and terror. A motion voted in session by the Council of the Bar Association of Lyon.
The Council wished to welcome “the courage and dignity of Iranian women and men who fight totalitarianism and terror” and asks the French authorities to seize the UN Security Council “so that the intolerable repression, the arbitrary arrests, the murders and the tortures inflicted on those who demand freedom” cease immediately.
