Use only on weekdays and excluding public holidays

In addition, the measure made it possible “to accelerate the use of tickets saved by employees due to health restrictions, and to sell off stocks of restaurant tickets whose lifespan is limited”.

Today the stock of tickets was sold out and the old tickets from 2021 could be replaced by tickets valid in 2022.

Two years at 38 euros

Before the summer of 2020, you could only pay 19 euros a day in restaurants, bakeries, company canteens, as well as in delivery. To support restaurateurs particularly affected by Covid-19 and the spring confinement, the government has decided to double the amount usable each day by raising the ceiling to 38 euros. This measure was enacted on June 11, 2020 and has been extended several times: until August 31, until February 28, then until June 30.

The objective: “To encourage employees and their families to reconnect with the pleasure of going to restaurants when they reopen after confinement while allowing restaurateurs, hard hit by the crisis, to benefit more quickly from a business contribution. supplement”, as explained at the time by the Edenred group, restaurant voucher service, to news.fr.

No change in supermarkets

Note that supermarkets also accept this means of payment for certain food shopping. The ceiling has always been set at 19 euros and has not changed.
