Gosselin Courtiers d’assurances held a course in agricultural insurance on 25 January. In fact, it is surrounded by almost twenty producers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector that the company was able to present its various services.

From left to right: Karine Gosselin, Martin Léger, Cristina Corno, Valérie Fournier and Serge Gosselin, all non-life insurance brokers.

More specifically, this free training aimed to better equip agricultural producers to demystify their insurance contract, thereby helping them make informed decisions about determining their values, deductibles and coverage. The training was presented by Karine Gosselin, President and CEO, Serge Gosselin, Vice-President, Martin Léger and Valérie Fournier, non-life insurance brokers.

A team specializing in agricultural insurance

In the early years of his career, Serge Gosselin, founder, worked as a fire prevention technician for an insurance company, which allowed him to inspect several farms throughout the province. He thus passes on his experience to Gosselin Courtiers d’assurance brokers.

“This training gave us the opportunity to share our expertise with the attendees, in addition to informing them about the various clauses in agricultural insurance contracts. We also had the chance to discuss our family history, which is at the heart of our service offering, which is to provide human service to create a bond of trust,” says managing director Karine Gosselin.

Remember that the company has been established for more than 30 years in the Haut-Saint-Laurent region.

New training coming soon

The Gosselin Courtiers d’assurances team wishes to hold this type of meeting annually. In addition, the next training course for companies is planned for the spring. Those interested can now express their interest by sending an e-mail to the address [email protected].
