This Monday, July 11 was held the big evening ” Best neighborhood restaurant » organized by Progress and The City of Lyon in the unique setting of the Hôtel de Ville de Lyon. The objective: to reward the best restaurants in each district of Lyon. An annual meeting created in 2019 which highlights Lyon’s historic know-how in terms of gastronomy, promoting quality cuisine, based on fresh, local and seasonal products, friendly and accessible to all.
Very precise specifications
For this 3rd edition, Lyonnais were invited to vote for their favorite addresses from a selection of more than 200 restaurants meeting precise specifications: a dish of the day less than or equal to €14, a dining room with a maximum of 60 seats, home-made and local cuisine, respect for the seasonality of products and have been open for more than a year. For the occasion, the 9 best restaurants in each Lyon arrondissement as well as 3 special categories (“world cuisine”, “vegetarian-friendly” and “organic”) were honored.
