In 2013, a video went viral when a huge fight broke out in the restaurant. We saw one person in particular take a raccoon out of his jacket. A grotesque situation that has created its (bad) reputation.

Since then, conditions have worsened, and Police Chief Charles Bordeleau has written a letter to McDonald’s Canada management expressing his concerns.

the lease not renewed

After reading this letter, the brand decided to reduce the opening hours of the restaurant, which until now had been open 24 hours a day, from 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.

But it wasn’t enough, and the fast food restaurant’s lease is not renewed next July, forcing it to close permanently.

According to the owner of the building, this decision was not only due to violence.
