The 4L Trophy is the first solidarity rally raid, 100% students or young workers, taking place in a Renault 4L car on Moroccan tracks. This raid is also an example of solidarity between the participants and towards the local population. It makes sense to share in the field with the association Enfants du désert and in France with the Red Cross.
Pierre Salerno, 21 years old and Loïc Mazars, 23 years old, under the sign “Salzars” will set off on a humanitarian raid (50 kg luggage) of 6,000 kilometers across Morocco’s tracks. For this 26th edition of the 4L Trophy, the start is scheduled for February 16, with a rally scheduled in Biarritz.
The veterans know it well, the 4L trophy cannot be told, it is lived for a good ten days with a passage through the Straits of Gibraltar by boat and then towards the Atlas Mountains, the city of Fez Erfoud, Zagora (at the gates of the Sahara desert), ascent to Ouarzazate arriving at Marrakesh; the 25th, day of rest, award presentation and closing party; February 26, free return to Europe.
These young people would like to thank the many partners (26), especially Bozoul’s auto control company for the preparation of the completely restored vehicle; support from the high school Denayrouze d’Espalion, the Municipal Children’s Council of Bozouls for the provision of clothing, sports equipment, school supplies for Moroccan children; Montaize estate (wine) which these young people sold during the markets to complete their necessary budget of €10,000. We wish the best of luck to these two young lovers of adventure and long-distance travel.
