Two loans of 3.1 billion dirhams for grain cultivation and generalization of social security coverage – Labass.net

Two loan agreements to finance two programs related to the development of cereal cultivation and the generalization of social coverage of 3.1 billion dirhams were signed on Monday in Rabat between Morocco and the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The loan agreements were signed by ministerial delegates to the Minister of Economy and Finance responsible for the budget, Fouzi Lekjaa and the resident representative of the AfDB National Office in Rabat, Achraf Tarsim.

These are the Support Program for the Competitive and Resilient Development of Cereal Crops (PADCRC), amounting to €199m. (i.e. approximately 2.16 billion dirhams) and the support program for the generalization of social security coverage (PAGCS), for an amount of €87 million (i.e. approximately 944 million dirhams).

These two agreements were signed in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Marine Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohammed Sadiki and the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb.
