Hikers discovered 11 newly born puppies in a garbage bag. Fortunately, they transported the babies as quickly as possible to the veterinarian who entrusted them to an association. A rescue that the members of the organization now in charge of their survival deplore.
This June 26, 2022, good Samaritans who were walking in the wooded area off heath lanenot far from the town of Huddersfield in Englandsuddenly saw a trash bag lying on the floor.
They then looked inside and were shocked to find 11 puppies with the umbilical cord still attached to their bellies. Without waiting, they took the babies to the local animal clinic. “The vet who examined them all and estimated they were only a few hours old”clarified Sara Jordandeputy chief inspector of the RSPCAto Mirror.

“They were extremely vulnerable”
Unfortunately, one of the canines had difficulty breathing and was very sick. It was decided that the best thing to do was to euthanize him in order to end his suffering.
“The veterinary clinic asked us for help, as they did not have the facilities or the expertise to hand raise the remaining 10 puppies”has explained Sarah. The babies have therefore been entrusted to experienced foster families who watch over them day and night.
Sarah herself took in a female named Tippy and bottle feeds her every 90 minutes. “The poor little ones will have to be raised by their adoptive parents and will need very intense care. Indeed, they are very fragile until the age of weaning »said Sarah.

Unfortunately, despite the efforts made, 4 of the little ones did not survive a dazzling infection. “Luckily the other 6 are now doing very well and are getting stronger every day”confided the inspector.
At the same time, an investigation is being carried out to determine who is behind this heinous act. According to the first findings, they would be German Shepherd puppies and their mother must suffer from their loss.
