Cane Corso, once a relatively unknown breed, has skyrocket in popularity, proving that large, protective dogs are in demand. Meanwhile, mixed breeds and designer dogs like Labradoodles and Cavapoos continue to get traction, even if they do not make AKC’s official list. No matter what breed tops the cards, one thing is sure – America’s love for dogs does not go anywhere and every puppy, whether purebred or rescue, deserves a loving home!
