Cocktails to share: the basic rules to respect
Friendly, simple to prepare, summer’s flagship cocktails take center stage in XXL format. To dose them correctly, there are a few rules to follow. “The first is the triangulation. We make sure to respect the mix of three main families in each cocktail with: alcohol, for its power and aroma, sugar and acid. On this basis, you can give free rein to your creativity.», advises Smaïl Siyar, B2B & Bar Manager at Drinks&Co Store. Diluting ice cubes, which you can buy in supermarkets or make yourself at home, allows you to bring more lightness to alcohol-based cocktails. As for the proportions: “For each person, two units of alcohol are required for one unit of acidity (citrus) and one unit of sugar», specifies Smaïl.
