Escapes house fire, tracks the family

When a devastating house fire broke out in Tennessee, a German shepherd named Max was separated from his family in the chaos. While humans were rushed to safety, Max disappeared in smoke. The family feared the worst-until three days later Max appeared at the hotel, where they temporarily lived, five miles away from the burnt-out home. He was covered in soot and limp a little, but otherwise okay. Max had never been to the hotel before, but somehow his shepherd instincts led him directly to his people – because nothing, not even flames, keeps a German shepherd from his package.

Survive 20 days in the desert

In Oregon, a hike became tragic when a golden retriever named Charlie slipped her leash and disappeared to a dense forest. The search team combed the area, but the thick wilderness turned out to be too challenging. After 20 days, a volunteer Charlie found under a bush – shaken, thin, but still cradles his tail. Golden Retrievers are known for their kind nature, and the gentle disposition helped Charlie survive by seeking campers for remnants and security. When his owner finally embraced him again, Charlie’s tail caused almost a small forest breeze.



Found 900 miles away

A Siberian Husky named Luna disappeared from her backyard in New Mexico, only to be found nine hundred miles away in California three months later. How she came there is still a mystery, but Luna’s journey was not so surprising thanks to her microchip and the fact that Huskies are furry escape artists with endurance for days. A rescue volunteer scanned her chip and contacted her shocked family who made the drive and reunite with their Globe-Trotting Girl. When she saw them, Luna howled with joy – and probably asked for snacks immediately after.

Lost after car accident returns two weeks later

In Colorado, a boxer named Duke was pushed out of a vehicle during a rollover accident. While the driver survived, Duke disappeared into the hills. Volunteers and family looked for him tirelessly, and after two weeks of radio movement, Duke came down the road back to the scene of the accident that he had a built-in calendar and map. He was a little thinner and covered with burrs, but clearly rejoiced in finding his people. Boxers are loyal and resilient, and Duke proved that even crash landings can’t prevent a good boy from coming home.

In Oklahoma, a tornado equalized several homes and spread families – including a border of collie named Sadie, swept away during the storm. Her family feared she had not survived, but 10 days later Sadie was spotted to circle the remains of her former home. She had traveled dozens of miles, survived on instinct and determination, to return to the only place she knew. Border Collies is one of the smartest races, and Sadie used every ounce of the genius to reunite with her stunned and tearful people. The only thing missing from this reunion was an epic movie Soundtrack.



Swimming across the river to reunite

In Mississippi, a Labrador Retriever named Cooper was separated from his owner during a camping trip. While searching nearby, the owner crossed a river and did not realize that Cooper had been left behind. After hours of beam and panic on both sides, Cooper did what every labrador would do – he swam across the river, flow and everything, just to be reunited. When he reached the other side, softened wet and exhausted, he jumped into his owner’s arms, as if it were the greatest day of his life. Running a delivery car in 300 miles

A pint-sized chihuahua named Bella somehow reached a walk in the back of a FedEx truck and ended up 300 miles away from his home in Texas. A friendly delivery worker found her hid behind some boxes and brought her to a local shelter where they scanned her microchip. Her owners were shocked – and immediately hit the way to get her back. Chihuahuas may be small, but hard, feisty and resourceful. Bella returned home as a four-pound boss, probably demanding goodies and stomachs rub as payment for her unexpected road trip.

Going 40 miles home after moving

When a family moved from their old home to a new one over 40 miles away in Kansas, their rottweiler named Tank from the new backyard just days after the move. They searched in the area without help – until almost two weeks later, tanks appeared at the door of their old house. He had gone 40 miles over highways, fields and neighborhoods to return to what he thought was at home. Rottweilers is known for their loyalty and Tank’s Epic Walk proved that he was not just loyal – he had GPS in his soul.

In Maine, a Beagle named Molly disappeared during a winter hike and slid out of her harness and disappeared in the snow -capped forest. Despite days of searching, there were no leads and her family feared the worst. But three months later – yes, three – Momly showed up on their porch when she had just popped out for a snack. Beagler is fragrant driven and determined; Somehow, Molly survived cold and wilderness to return home. She walked through the door like a queen who returned from exile and immediately claimed the warmest blanket in the house.
