A little cat died in horrific circumstances this Wednesday August 17, 2022 at Portel, in Pas-de-Calais. The owner of the feline decided to throw it repeatedly against a wall, until the death of the animal.
The police and an animal capture association were alerted by witnesses around 11:15 p.m., according to our colleagues from La Voix du Nord.
Cat owner arrested
A dozen police officers intervened to arrest the owner of the little cat. The respondent was for his part still in police custody this Thursday morning according to information from BFM Grand Littoral. The man is unfavorably known to the authorities and animal services, in particular for what appeared to be animal abuse.
