Unfortunately, these attempts were unsuccessful, and months later the feline was still nowhere to be found. Almost a year after his disappearance, the family ofElizabeth had to move toOntario, another Canadian province. Keeping a very low hope, the young woman kept the same telephone number as the one which was registered in the electronic chip of kiki.
Elizabeth received a call that changed her life
4 years have passed, and elizabeth no longer believed that he would see his beloved animal again. But one day she got a call. It was a vet, who told him “We have Kiki”. “I just started to sob“, told elizabeth in words reported by Daily Star. “I was in shock.”

kiki was actually found near his former home. A woman living nearby had spotted the cat on her surveillance camera. From then on, she had started to drop off food to attract him. “Jwas home so I saw him coming to eat, and he came three times a day to eat, so I posted on a local Facebook page to see if he belonged to anyone”, she testified.
