A resident of Lubersac (Corrèze) appeared before the Brive court on September 13 and was sentenced for “involuntary injury” and “attack on the life of a domestic animal”, Tuesday September 27, 2022, reports The mountain.

A few months earlier, his Dogo Argentino had violently attacked a woman and her dog. On the day of the events, the defendant’s canine was on a leash but it had slipped, explains the local newspaper.

120 day fines at €10

The Dogo Argentino then pounced on the victim’s Brittany Spaniel and bit him violently on the neck. The latter also suffered two bites in the calf. The respondent had managed to get his dog to let go but was also injured in the maneuver, detail our colleagues.

Finally, the defendant was fined 120 day-fines of €10. However, his animal was not confiscated from him, notes The mountain.
