Millas drama trial: Me Codognes, defense lawyer, pleads for the release of the bus driver

12th day of the trial of the drama of Millas, this Wednesday, before the criminal court of Marseille. On December 14, 2017, a tragic collision between a school bus and a train at level crossing No. 25 killed six children and injured 17 others.

This Wednesday morning, the public prosecutor requested against Nadine Oliveira: five years of imprisonment including 4 accompanied by a suspended probation (with in particular obligations of care, to compensate the victims); cancellation of his driver’s license for a passenger vehicle and passenger transport vehicle; prohibition to retake the driving license for 5 years; ban on driving any motorized land vehicle for 5 years; permanent ban on having a professional and social activity related to road transport; permanent ban on having a professional activity related to children.

The two defense lawyers, Mes Codognes and Fagniez, pleaded for the release of the bus driver.
