Which products are affected?

The recall concerns cheese morbier AOP raw cow’s milk 250g of the brand Our regions have talent. This is for sale all E.Leclerc stores in France. These products were marketed between 01/10/2023 and 24/01/2023. The reason for his recall: Presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected product is as follows:

  • GTIN 3564709172415, batch no: 006, minimum shelf life date 18/03/2023

It is specified that “only products with the additional code 03 after the barcode are affected by the recall.”

What are the symptoms?

Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium responsible for a rare disease that can affect both humans and animals: listeriosis.
This particularly affects pregnant women, the elderly and people with weak immune systems. Symptoms may appear 2 days to 2 months after consuming the product. These symptoms can be in the form of diarrhea, fever, body aches, vomiting, nausea, intense headache or even flu. The disease can also take more serious forms and affect the brain. In pregnant women, the disease can be very dangerous for the unborn child: abortion, premature birth or neonatal infection that can develop and become fatal.

Some products are more susceptible to contamination by listeria monocytogenes: unpasteurized dairy products, raw cheeses, raw meat and raw vegetables.
