Chadrac: his transgressions land him in prison
During a patrol on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Chadrac, Sunday at midnight, a team of police officers checked the files in the vehicle in front of them. They then realized that the car, an Opel Zafira, did not have an active insurance guarantee and that its technical inspection was not up to date. It was therefore decided to carry out further investigations. The driver was thus found in possession of a piece of hash resin and intoxicated. He no longer held a driver’s license and was the subject of a search warrant for failure to comply with a criminal conviction: 6 months in prison for driving without a license. The person, originally from Goudet and 39 years old, acknowledged all the facts. He was brought before a judge, who decided to incarcerate him in the Puy detention center.
Le Puy-en-Velay: drunk, he attacks hospital staff
Last Thursday around 8 o’clock, a drunken 22-year-old Ponot was transported by firefighters to Émile-Roux hospital. At the scene, the person began insulting, pushing and threatening staff before leaving. Alarmed, the police arrested him on the boulevard du Docteur-Chantemesse. Two nurses and a nurse filed a complaint for these acts of contempt by a person in charge of a public service mission and death threats. The person in question will appear before the competent court in October next year.

A group of citizens of about forty people met on Tuesday at the end of the day at the Place du Breuil in Le Puy. The participants thus responded to the call “Stop the war! », signed at national level by activists of various origins. In particular, they protest against “the increase in the military budget to 413 billion until 2030 and the desire to establish a universal national service”. Brives-Charensac: driving despite license suspension
During the control of a vehicle, last Monday around 19:30 in the parking lot of the Halle store, the police noticed the parking maneuver of a driver of a car of the brand Audi. Its residents seemed to be watching them. They therefore approached him and pointed out to him that in his maneuver he had taken a forbidden direction. They asked him to produce the papers relating to driving the vehicle. The person presented a driver’s license certificate. But after checking, the police realized that his driving license had been suspended. The 22-year-old driver, resident of Chadrac, was therefore arrested. He was placed in police custody and admitted the facts. He will have a sentencing order in January 2024.
