Peter Cohen is a man who has a reputation as America’s cat hero. In fact, he has the most wonderful cat house ever.

That’s not to say there aren’t other heroes, but Cohen accomplished a rare feat. Peter Cohen lives in Santa Barbara, California and is known for having a large number of cats.

He currently has 22 adopted cats who all live with him, and it is a home of incredible qualities.

All the cats were rescued from very unpleasant living conditions. But now they can enjoy endless love.

Peter Cohen is passionate about felines and always wants to give them the best possible life. That’s why he turned his own home into a cat paradise so that they feel as comfortable as possible.

Peter Cohen began his story in 1988. That’s how he bought the house and started with just two kittens.

Unfortunately they had an accident and only one didn’t die. He has that decided to adopt 15 cats. It seems that was never enough as he ended up adopting 22 of them.

Some of the felines are: Smokey, Vanilla, Butter, Nutter, Mango, Mikan, Climber, Chocolate, Donut and Cookie Monster. They all come from shelters.

Why did you decide to adopt these felines?

Cohen suffered a lot when he saw the places where the cats were (in bad condition) and decided to transform his house to make it as impressive as possible for his cats and at the same time fully functional for him.

He set to work and came up with an incredibly attractive design for any cat lover. The house has all kinds of tunnels, passages between different rooms, raised rooms, ramps, scratching posts etc This is the Sistine Chapel of Felines.

This wonderful act of Peter shows us that we can be a hero without a cape by transforming his home as a shelter for the 22 cats he adopted. With love, care and dedication, he was able to provide them with a safe and warm haven.

His noble gesture not only changed the lives of these felines, but also inspired others to follow his example. Peter’s kindness and generosity remind us that true greatness lies in caring for the most vulnerable.

Her story teaches us that unconditional love can transform a simple home into a true feline paradise.
