Exit “La Perle Noire” and welcome to “Restaurant Colette”, always with its magnificent view on Chevrets beach in Saint-Coulombnext to Saint Malo.

“Contrary to what one might think, because of the proximity of Roz Ven, Colette comes from the first name of the grandmother of Mathilde, my wife”, explains Arthur Garreau, the owner.

100 seats inside, 200 outside

Last adjustments before the first service, this Tuesday, July 19. The works are in the finishing phase. The tables are set, both inside and outside. 100 seats inside, 200 seats outside, on the wooden deck with a magnificent view of the island of Petit Chevret, the beach and the island of Besnard.

Inside, returned boats are placed on the frames, the cement tile floor advantageously decorates the interior room. Wood dominates the decor, which blends in very well with the landscape of sand and pine trees.

Fresh products

“The menu is short, we want to cook only fresh products. I hired a pastry chef, the desserts will be homemade and only fresh,” continues Arthur Garreau.

There are a single menu, at €42, with a reduced choice of dishes to favor freshness. The rest is à la carte with dishes starting at €25. Snacks are available. Salads are around twenty euros.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., non-stop. A car park adjoins the restaurant, limited in number of places.

For the moment, reservations are made by the day, and the owner responds to requests by advising to call from 9am in the morning to reserve.
