Ptit Lion was only 2 years old, but he had already experienced a lot of suffering wandering the streets, left to his own devices. He was saved by an association, but his fight was just beginning…
A young feline named Little Lion seems to have been born under an unlucky star. The beginnings of his life were punctuated by difficult times, in the street, during which the cat had trouble feeding and had to face other stray felines, each more formidable than the other…
While in serious condition, he was rescued by members of Ch’Friends for lifean association for the rescue and protection of cats in distress, based in Six-Fours-les-Plage in the Var. Juliet Chevronthe president, tells the story of Little Lion at Woopets.

Young, but already very ill
The members of the association were quick to bring Little Lion to the vet because his abscess in his right armpit and the other bumps on his body didn’t bode well. Unfortunately, the tests will only confirm their fears…
The 2-year-old feline suffered from mastocytoma, an incurable lymph node cancer, as well as cat AIDS. A double penalty for Little Lionhe who was so young and who still had his whole life ahead of him… With that, it was unthinkable to imagine that the feline would be adopted, as the care he needed was so important.

His fight is a life lesson
The days of Little Lion were soon punctuated by treatments and chronic pain, but despite this, he never lost his zest for life. The members of his foster family then did everything so that each day gained was only “games, cuddles, and rest without worrying about tomorrow“.

Little Lion lived there moments filled with happiness in the company of his big feline brother, and was able to eat his fill there, while following a diet adapted to his illness. All his efforts, and those of his foster family, allowed him to live an extra year, while the veterinarians only gave him a few months to live…
Unfortunately, the disease took away Little Lion last May. The feline had fought for 13 long months, never lacking in goodwill. He is now enjoying a well-deserved rest, in the paradise of tomcats.
