The affectionate and intelligent canine was unanimous, but his physical condition seriously hurt the members of the shelter. Mickey had deformed front legs, so much that he had to walk on his elbows. A real ” heartbreak ” for Paul O’Gradyambassador of the association.
The members of the shelter then did everything to help him. In partnership with the veterinarians of Medivetthey were able to operate Mickey 3 times, and stay by his side throughout his recovery. The dog had to be bedridden for several months, and undergo hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions.
