A Canadian animal protection association sent an officer to rescue a dog that was visibly abandoned. When she arrived on the scene, she understood that the rescue was going to involve much more than just one animal.
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of British Columbia (BC SPCA) had been alerted to a dog thought to be abandoned and in need of help, nearAgassiz in southwestern Canada.

All 10 dogs were seen by a veterinarian. The puppies are doing very well. Their mother follows a specific diet allowing her to regain weight gradually. They were all placed in foster care.
