A way to make life easier for owners who don’t want to leave their four-legged friends behind during the holidays, and also a way to fight against abandoned animals.

“It is important, it creates awareness,” explains the director of the tourist office, Anne Godin. Thanks to the development of this brand, owners can offer “wouacances” instead of giving up their animals for convenience. “It’s not always easy to take your dog on holiday, you don’t know where it is accepted, what you can do with it…”, sums up Anne Godin. So to avoid these difficulties, the tourist office offers a tourism guide. It is available on site and contains a lot of practical information.
Tourists will find e.g. addresses toaccommodationof restaurants which accepts dogs as well as practical contact information. The office thus listed contacts regardingaccompanistsof veterinarians in case of injury and even poison control center, specialized shops or even grooming salons. There’s also a list of useful numbers if your faithful companion ever gets lost.
There are also some excursion ideas to stretch your legs, on foot, by bike or even by boat, and the tourist office even organizes dedicated walks. In short, everything is wow well thought out.
Holidays: primary reason for abandonment
