Probably victims of an accidental fall of about 30 meters, a walker and her dog were found dead on Sunday in the Areuse gorges.

Alerted around 3 p.m., the Neuchâtel police could only note the death of a thirty-year-old woman and her pet. According to the first investigations, both would have been victims of a fall of about thirty meters.
The rescue operation required the involvement of Rega, SPS Neuchâtel, Swiss Alpine Rescue as well as several patrols and the forensic service of the Neuchâtel police.
