Cédric Jubillar was again heard by the judges in charge of the investigation. His lawyers denounced “the state of perdition in which the prosecution finds itself”.
Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers denounced Friday “the state of perdition in which the prosecution finds itself” after the interrogation of their client, concerning the disappearance of his wife at the end of 2020.
The painter-plasterer was heard by the two judges in charge of the investigation, in particular on statements made to a cell neighbor who triggered large-scale searches to find the body of the nurse in Cagnac-les-Mines ( Tarn) in January, without success.
“Cédric Jubillar replied that the latter had told nonsense. And the research carried out since December shows that this man has told anything, ”insisted Alexandre Martin, one of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers.

Me Emmanuelle Franck, another lawyer for Mr. Jubillar, pointed to “an interrogation on the void which highlights the state of perdition in which the prosecution finds itself”.
To verify the statements of the cell neighbor of Cédric Jubillar, to whom the number one suspect would have revealed approximately the place where he would have buried his wife, the investigators deployed significant means, equipped with radars and metal detectors, with the support of the Specialized Operational Force (FOS, of the 17th RGP of Montauban), without however finding any trace of the body of his wife.
“The isolation regime is a form of pressure on him”
Another lead, also from Cédric Jubillar’s cell neighbor, caught the attention of investigators: that of a white car that the suspect could have borrowed from one of his neighbors, in which traces of blood – being analyzed – have been found.
“Gendarmes, if their job is to look for hypotheses, today we have the impression that they are playing Cluedo. It’s Delphine’s car in that sense, with condensation, now it’s Cédric’s friend’s car, with a knife, in the dining room. We are delirious, ”said Me Martin, irritated.
For Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers, his detention since June 18, 2021 is “unbearable”.
Me Jean-Baptiste Alary, also counsel for the thirties, evokes a “psychologically difficult detention but he continues to proclaim his innocence”.
“The isolation regime is a form of pressure on him,” he laments.
His lawyers have announced that a new request for release will be made in the coming days while the previous ones have been systematically rejected.
“There are no elements, this man is innocent, this man must be released,” added Martin, calling the investigation a “judicial disaster”.
At the time of the disappearance, the couple was in the process of divorce, a separation at the initiative of the nurse that Cédric Jubillar had difficulty accepting, according to the investigators.
