If Elizabeth II was famous for her love of corgis, Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla are fond of another breed of dog.

The death of Elizabeth II on September 8 has made millions unhappy around the world. Among them are his two dogs, corgis named Muick and Sandy. After the sovereign’s passing, her four-legged friends are expected to return to Prince Andrew and his daughter, Princess Beatrice. His last had offered the puppies to the Queen when Prince Philip died. A move from Buckingham Palace, where they will be replaced by two other dogs.

King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla are also owners of two dogs who are expected to move into the palace grounds at the same time as them. Beth and Bluebell are two Jack Russells who were adopted by Camilla Parker Bowles from a shelter: “They are ever-faithful family members, friends and companions and, like anyone else with a passion for dogs, I cannot imagine life without them”, had explained the queen consort to the “Express UK”.

Engaged doggies

In October 2021, Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Charles posed next to their animals on their Instagram account: “Bluebell and Beth, the dogs rescued by the Duchess of Cornwall, are proud to unveil their Wear Blue for Rescue bandanas. as part of the new Battersea campaign. The rescue celebrates all the amazing pets who need a second chance. The Duchess adopted Bluebell and Beth from the Battersea House of Dogs and Cats, a charity that has provided homes for more than three million animals since its inception in 1860.” A good deed for these royal dogs who have already proven that they are ready to commit to the good cause.
