39,000 euros is the amount of prizes that the Delsol Avocats endowment fund will grant for the 13e edition of its call for projects and which the Lyon firm launched this summer; and whose deadline for submitting applications is extended to September 12, midnight.
For several years, Delsol Avocats has developed expertise in non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurship thanks to a team of 25 lawyers including 5 partners: Jean-Baptiste Autric, Alexis Becquart, Laurent Bustraën, Lionel Devic and Xavier Delsol.
The necessary need for advice on association law
It is therefore quite natural that the Lyon firm founded in 2009 one of the first endowment funds of this kind, with the ambition of supporting and pooling its sponsorship actions.
“Xavier Delsol, his partners and collaborators were therefore keen to support projects of general interest in the social economy sector and to engage together in a philanthropic aim. The purpose of this fund is to support the patronage actions of the firm driven by the desire of its partners and collaborators to engage alongside projects that convey strong human values” explains Delsol Avocats.
The projects presented must be innovative of a social, cultural, educational or sporting nature, centered on the development and the material, intellectual or moral development of people and their environment, and must promote the dignity of the person.
Finals
The 3 finalists of this call for projects will be invited to come and present their structure and their project in support of a 10-minute video, during the National Forum of Associations and Foundationsto be held in Paris on October 20. The jury, made up of representatives from the world of associations, will award the winners three prizes endowed respectively with €20,000, €12,000 and €7,000. Each year, the jury receives around a hundred applications.
