The difficulties continue for Russia, says the British intelligence service
In its daily update, the British Ministry of Defense assures that Russia is currently in difficulties and is finding it difficult to train its mobilized recruits.
“These problems will be compounded by the annual autumn conscription cycle, announced on 30 September 2022 and starting on 1 November 2022, which is expected to attract an additional 120,000” to the Russian military, the British intelligence service said.
Night shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region
More than 40 shots were fired at the city of Nikopol last night, according to the governor of the region, Valentyn Reznichenko. This caused two fires which have now been extinguished by firefighters, he said. Several buildings and infrastructures were affected without causing damage.

In his traditional daily speech, the Ukrainian president returned to the fighting in recent days: “The fighting was concentrated in Donbass this week, in Bakhmut and Soledar. We maintain our positions,” he said, stressing that Ukrainians were “ready for peace. A just peace. We have said it many times.”
