The facts took place on Sunday in a building in Grigny, in Essonne.
Around 3:15 p.m., an attack dog attacked four young women, aged 19 and 23, in an apartment.
Alerted by the cries of the victims, their neighbor came out of his house and rushed into the home.
But the man was unable to calm this American Staffordshire Terrier who was out of control. The neighbor then grabbed a knife and cut the animal’s throat, which died instantly.
The young women were taken to hospital. Two are injured in the arm, the third in the lip and the last was bitten in the breast and has a torn finger.
As for the author of the stabbing, he was not injured. The owner of the animal had entrusted his dog to his girlfriend. The latter was absent at the time of the events.
The Juvisy-sur-Orge police station was in charge of the investigation.
