Holly’s Diner, located in the commercial area of Cap Saran, was the target of a armed robbery, Monday August 15 in the evening. Three hooded men, at least one of whom was armed with a pistol, burst in around 11:45 p.m., shortly before closing time. “They stayed barely thirty seconds”, explains an employee, confirming information from France bleu Orléans.
No injuries
The robbers seized the safe of the establishment, which contained approximately 5,000 euros in cash.
With the exception of a few employees, the restaurant was not receiving customers when the events took place. No one was hurt.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the judicial police of Orleans, who moved the same evening and stayed a good part of the night in order to carry out surveys. Commercial video surveillance should be exploited.
Holly’s Diner opened its doors normally and is receiving its customers well on Tuesday, August 16.
