Beekeepers in Limousin

– Phaedo House

The adventure of

Phaedo house begins in 1960, when Thierry’s parents set up as beekeepers. A few years later, their farm located in Razès, 30 km north of Limoges, in the heart of France, has several hundred beehives and the honey is sold in the markets of the region. From his childhood, Thierry immersed himself in the parental universe of beekeeping. Very early he visits the hives and collects many bites. It even looks like he fell into a small barrel of honey! His fascination with bees grows every day he spends with them. It is born in him the proof that one day he will become a beekeeper in his turn! It was therefore only natural that he discovered the profession, first alongside his parents; then through his beekeeping apprenticeship on the five continents before returning to Limousin to create his business.
