Tens of thousands of protesters mustered in cities and cities across the country on Saturday to sound against the Trump administration’s cuts to the federal government and its policies.
Carrying homemade posters and singing “hands off” the protesters came out to the more than 1,200 rallies nationwide despite rain in many cities, according to organizers.
Several democratic heavy weights, including some members of Congress, joined the protests and called on the public not to stand for what they called the administration’s wrong administration and break with constitutional norms.

“Our founders wrote a constitution that did not start with ‘We The Dictators’,” Rep said. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., The crowd gathered at National Mall in Washington, DC, where organizers said over 100,000 people gathered.
He slammed the administration into several of its policies, including President Donald Trump’s implementation of tariffs in almost every country.

“Their customs rates are not only imbecilic – they are illegal, they are constitutional, and we will turn this around,” he said.
Stan and Cindy Prusik, who participated in the DC rally, told ABC News that they are concerned about the future of their children and grandchildren with the economy.
“I’m not sleeping well. I’m scared,” said Cindy Prusik. “We have money, we have saved all our lives, our pension – it won’t be there. I’m afraid of what will happen to the world, so much less the American markets. I am upset that we have made enemies out of countries that were our friends in the past. It’s just so uncertain.”
“We have daughters – we have to protect daughters and our grandchildren,” Stan Prusik added.

Paul Osadebe, a lawyer of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, spoke during the Rally in Washington and said he has been asked by the Trump Administration and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to take a buyout offer.
Osadbe, a trade union with the passing Local 476, the audience told the oligarchs not “appreciate you or your life or your community.”
“We see that they do not care about who to destroy or who to hurt to get what they want,” he said.

Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-FLA., Repeated its statement with a warning that it will get worse.
“They wanted us to believe that if we gave them all control, everything would be okay,” he said. “But breaking news, they have control and look at where we are now: massive inequality across the country.”

“The federal administration believes that this country belongs to them – and that they are above the law,” said Boston Rally organizers. “They take everything they can get their hands on – our rights, our health care, our data, our jobs, our services – and dare the world to stop them.”

There were no reports of any major disturbances or arrests at any of the rallies.
The White House had no immediate comment about the events.
