“I am confined in prison and a prisoner of my body”

Cédric, paraplegic, has been waiting for social housing for a year. Currently, he is forced to live in his mother’s garage. He has no window, nothing to eat, his only source of water is a pipe above a bucket (photos). With the absence of insulation, it is a furnace in summer and a fridge in winter. His daily life boils down to staying in his garage or walking a few meters in front of his house.

“I am a prisoner of my body”: he testifies in video

It is with an emotion that he struggles to hide that his physio confides in the mental state of Cédric (the details)

In the meantime, Gregory, his physio and Audrey, his nurse, continue to look for solutions for Cédric. They will soon submit a file to the Logis Quaregnonnais in the hope of a better future for Cédric.
