IPSOS survey – Insurance for professionals, almost 1 in 2 entrepreneurs take the risk of not taking out insurance » PACA Economic and Policy Letter

According to an IPSOS© Digital survey on behalf of the neo-insurance company Insify, conducted online between 1.eh and on December 3, by electronic questionnaires of a representative sample of 500 professionals*, 48% of respondents had already taken the risk of working without insurance.

The entire study will be available at the link https://www.insify.fr/presse/

A study that describes the obstacles, criticisms and expectations of entrepreneurs for professional insurance companies

The European new insurance company Insify wanted, as part of the launch of its activities in France in early 2023, to interview the self-employed and managers of VSEs. Since January 2023, Insify has been offering professional insurance dedicated to professionals in the delivery and personal service sectors as part of a partnership with Wakam.

This entire study will be revealed shortly and is already revealing basic information about the risk professionals take to work without insurance coverage.

So to the question, “Regarding your activity, have you ever taken the risk of working without business insurance? 34% of them did not cover it at the start of their activity, and 14% are still not covered.

On the 48% of French professionals who work without insurance, Insify states: “Professionals’ lack of insurance is a situation that we have already had to deal with in the Netherlands and in Germany. The same observation can be made on a European scale, namely a rejection by young entrepreneurs, the self-employed and VSEs of the solutions offered by traditional insurance companies. The study also perfectly shows all the points that they criticize, but also make constructive suggestions. This is where Insify’s mission takes on its full meaning, as we want to offer them fair, fast, free and humane insurance. In short, an insurance that finally lives up to their legitimate expectations. » About Insify
