A new restaurant at Adam Island (Val-d’Oise), or rather four.
La Cabane adamoise, which opened its doors on June 18, 2022, offers a special experience. In the same premises, four restaurateurs invest the terrace hand in hand to offer a multitude of choices to customers.
Born by chance
Bringing together Mango, a specialist in Martinican cuisine, Beefy’s, which offers burgers, Atelier du sushi and La Jacobine bar, for those who want to snack, La Cabane Adamoise was born a little by chance.
Julien Jacob, 25-year-old owner of the premises and manager of La Jacobine, says: “By buying the premises, I wanted to place my friend (Beefy’s, editor’s note) and then the space was too big, so I thought why not put other restaurateurs. In L’Isle Adam, the competition is fierce, so we had to find an innovative concept to exist. »
When you arrive at the Cabin, you are offered the four cards, allowing you (normally) to find what you are looking for.
“I find this place authentic and its concept is original. You don’t find that everywhere,” rejoices Amandine, a 23-year-old customer.
Trust and support
With this concept, Julien Jacob benefits from word of mouth: “We are full every evening, people are curious and come to test for themselves. »
For the proper functioning, Julien Jacob insists on the need for trust and mutual assistance between the restaurateurs present.
“Payment is centralized at my bar, La Jacobine, and I redistribute, honesty is crucial for it to work,” insists the manager.
Wanting to devote himself to this season, he is not closed to the idea of later developing the concept elsewhere: “We have the recipe, so why not? »
